This is a lightweight in-browser checker for common writing issues. It runs locally in your browser.

What's in this toolkit?

This page combines a word counter with live grammar & spelling checking (underlined directly in the text as you type), a keyword density panel, a character counter checked against 43 real platform limits, and a case converter — all sharing one text box.

How to use it

  1. Type or paste your text into the box, or use Import to load a .txt, .docx or .pdf file.
  2. Spelling and grammar issues get underlined live in the text (turn this off any time with the Grammar check switch), and word/character counts update instantly below the box.
  3. Your most frequent keywords appear on the right — search a specific word or phrase to see its density.
  4. Open Character Counter, Case Converter or the full Grammar Report tab below for more detail.
  5. Set a word-count goal, turn on Focus mode to write distraction-free, or export your text as TXT, PDF or DOCX.

Frequently asked questions

Is my text uploaded anywhere?

No. Counting, grammar checking and case conversion all happen locally in your browser using JavaScript — your text is never sent to a server.

How accurate is the grammar check?

It's a lightweight, rule-based checker — a common-typo dictionary, repeated-word detection, long-sentence and passive-voice heuristics, and basic punctuation spacing checks. It catches common slips but isn't a substitute for a full grammar engine.

What does Autosave do?

When on, your text is saved to your browser's local storage as you type, so it's still there if you accidentally close the tab. It never leaves your device.

Can I import a Word or PDF file?

Yes — click Import and choose a .txt, .docx or .pdf file; the text is extracted directly in your browser.
